The shop opened in 1992 and closed in 2011. It is open again, run by the founder's son and a welding engineer.

Quality Contract Manufacturing (QCM) is open again at 1034 S Main St in Louisburg, North Carolina, 30 minutes north of Raleigh. The shop does machining, welding, fabrication, powder coating, and more for commercial and government customers across the Triangle and eastern North Carolina, and helps with design and prototyping before parts go into production.

The Jabbour family started the shop in 1992 and ran it until 2011. The work included commercial and government contracts and high volume production parts. In 2026 Bashir Jabbour, who grew up working in the shop, reopened it in the same building with Greg Jonker, a welding engineer.

"I spent summers here as a kid watching my dad design parts, and later ran machines on the floor. We are back in the same building doing the same kind of work."
Bashir Jabbour, owner and machining lead

The 28,000 square foot building has turning on lathes up to 48 inches of swing, milling, MIG, TIG, stick, and robotic welding, laser and plasma cutting, a 200 ton CNC press brake, grinding, heat treating, powder coating, and inspection. Both owners are engineers and both work the floor.

"Most shops our size send you to three different vendors for machining, welding, and fabrication. We do all of it here, so you deal with one shop and get the part faster."
Greg Jonker, owner and welding lead

QCM is taking work in industrial machinery, food and beverage processing, construction, utilities, defense, and others, from single repair jobs to production runs. Request a quote, email info@qcmfgnc.com, or call (919) 727-6991.
