Production steel components for a furniture line

A custom furniture maker needed 20 formed steel trim components per table, kitted and repeatable across a production line — clean edges, consistent bends, furniture-grade finish.

THE PROBLEM

What the customer brought us

A custom furniture maker designed a flagship table with steel trim inlaid around the top — twenty 0.125" × 0.75" flat-bar components per table, including corner pieces formed to a tight radius. Furniture is unforgiving work for a fab shop: the steel sits at eye level and hand level, so every edge, bend, and surface has to be furniture-grade, and every kit has to match the last one.

WHAT WE DID

How we built it

We cut the bar components to length — aprons at 31" and 61", corner legs formed to R.375 on the press brake — deburred every edge, and delivered complete per-table kits. Consistent bend radii and edge quality across kits means the maker's assembly process never has to sort or rework parts.

THE RESULT

What the customer got

A repeatable production kit the customer can reorder as tables sell — the kind of recurring short-run production work that keeps both sides efficient.
