Design, machining, welding, and fabrication — bring a finished print or a napkin sketch. Everything under one roof in Louisburg, NC.
Bring us a concept, a rough sketch, or a problem — not just a print. Design consultation, CAD modeling, material selection, and design-for-manufacturability come from the same people who build your part. Our founders — a degreed welding engineer and an electrical & mechanical engineer who has taken hardware from concept through commissioning — iterate with you until the design is right, then move it straight to the shop floor.
DFM review and design guidance are included with every parts order — no separate fee. Projects that call for significant engineering — new machine designs, ground-up product development, extensive iteration — get a scoped, paid design phase up front, credited toward your production order.
Don't know exactly what you need? That's the work we do best. Describe the problem and we'll come back with an approach, a design, and a price to build it.
Sawing, drilling, tapping, reaming, deburring, pressing, and mechanical assembly. Four overhead cranes and a 10,000 lb forklift for moving heavy workpieces and materials safely. Large outdoor holding lot for material staging and inventory.
We also specialize in repairing and rebuilding heavy equipment — retooling, replacing broken and worn parts, and manufacturing OEM replacement components built to print. Custom machine design and build from concept to installation, with in-house manufacturing, testing, and operator training with setup. Field service contracts available.
Four engine lathes covering a wide range of work — from small bushings and pins up to large-diameter shafts, flanges, and cylinders that most shops can't swing. Up to 48" swing, 32" over carriage, and 16' between centers for extended workpieces without compromise.
Shafts, bushings, flanges, sleeves, cylinders, rollers, spindles, couplings, and custom one-offs. We turn anything round.
Four milling machines with full tooling for facing, drilling, boring, slotting, pocketing, keyways, and contour work. We hold tight tolerances across steel, stainless, aluminum, other metals, and polymers.
Fixtures, brackets, adapter plates, keyway cuts, counterbores, precision flats, and prototype parts.
Full welding department with 8+ MIG welders (including push/pull and spool gun setups), water-cooled AC/DC TIG, portable stick/TIG, 200 KVA spot welder, and an ABB 2400 welding robot for repeatable production runs. Oxyacetylene cutting and welding outfit rounds out the capabilities.
Our welding program is led by a degreed welding engineer with hands-on expertise in procedure development and process qualification. That means consistent, code-quality welds backed by real engineering.
Welding engineering on staff. WPS and PQR development, procedure qualification, and process control — the kind of technical depth that matters for critical weldments and code work.
200-ton press brake with CNC back gauge and die mounts — 8 feet of bending capacity for complex multi-bend parts with tight angular tolerances. 6-foot shear for clean straight cuts in plate up to 1/4". CNC laser cutting for fast, clean profiles in sheet and plate; CNC plasma handles material up to 3/4".
50-ton ironworker for punching, notching, coping, and shearing structural shapes. 5-ton and 30-ton punch presses for production hole work and forming operations.
Surface grinding for finishing flats and critical surfaces to close tolerance. In-house powder coating for durable, corrosion-resistant finishes. On-site heat treating furnace for hardening and tempering — keeping turnaround fast and quality under our control.
Keeping heat treat in-house means faster turnaround and tighter control over the final product.
Send us drawings, specs, or a napkin sketch. We'll get back to you within 48 hours with a quote and lead time.
