A municipal water treatment plant needed cover over equipment sitting in an open concrete bay, something that would never need paint and could go in without touching the structure around it. Galvanized steel was priced as one option. The plant chose aluminum.
We built a simple lean to: an aluminum roof frame welded at the top, carried on posts with base plates that bolt to the concrete. It carries its own roof and nothing else, so it was sized for wind and weather rather than a floor load. Everything was welded in the shop, then we delivered it and set it in the bay.
An aluminum structure that will not rust in a wet environment. We built it and we installed it.
